Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 July 2026

Short version: we only collect the email (and details) you hand us, we use it to tell you about Kickstart, we never sell it, and you can get off the list any time. Here's the long version.

Who we are

Kickstart Coffee Club ("we", "us"). This site is kickstartcoffeeclub.com. For anything data-related, email hello@kickstart.coffee — we're the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

Only what you choose to give us when you join the waitlist or the club:

We are not taking payments yet, so we don't collect or store any card or bank details. We don't currently use any advertising or analytics cookies.

Why we use it (and our lawful basis)

We use your details to email you about Kickstart — launch news, coffee drops, and club openings — and to get your order ready when checkout opens. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is your consent, which you give by joining. That's it. No third-party marketing, no reselling your data.

Where it's stored

Signups are stored securely with our database provider (Supabase) on servers in the UK/EU (London region). Access is locked down — the public website can add you to the list but cannot read the list back.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to remove it, or until we retire the waitlist. When you unsubscribe, we act on it.

Your rights

Under UK/EU data protection law you can, at any time:

To exercise any of these, email hello@kickstart.coffee and we'll sort it. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll tell the people on our list.
